FAQ

What are Mexican beach pebbles? Mexican beach pebbles are naturally smooth, rounded stones found on beaches around the world. They are composed of igneous and sedimentary rocks and come in various shades, including black, gray, white, and a mix of other colors.

Where do they come from? These stones originate from beaches and shores, where they are shaped by the natural action of water over thousands of years.

How do I use Mexican beach pebbles in my landscape? Beach pebbles are versatile and can be used for a variety of landscaping projects, such as garden beds, pathways, water features, and as decorative ground cover. Their smooth, polished look adds a natural, modern aesthetic to any outdoor space.

How do I calculate how much I need? To determine the quantity of pebbles needed, you must first measure the length and width of the area you want to cover. Then, calculate the square footage by multiplying the length by the width. Once you have this number, you can use our pebble chart to determine how much you need.

How should I install them? Proper installation involves preparing the area, which includes clearing the ground of any weeds or debris. It's also highly recommended to use a weed barrier fabric to prevent future weed growth and to keep the pebbles from mixing with the soil.

What is the difference between Mexican beach pebbles and river rocks? While both are natural stones, river rocks are typically collected from riverbeds and tend to have a more angular shape. In contrast, Mexican beach pebbles are consistently rounded and smooth due to the constant tumbling action of ocean waves.

How are the pebbles sold? Pebbles are sold in 40lb bags. These bags are packaged 60 bags into one large super sack.
